The last time Rainbow Kitten Surprise was in Orlando, audiences were left in their seats as the band announced that they had canceled their headline tour. A year and a half later, they are back and better than ever as they bring their new album, Love Hate Music Box, to Hard Rock Live. Filled with bright colors and engaging songs, RKS gave the people of Orlando the show they had been waiting for and did not disappoint.

The band opened the show with “Peter Pan,” a song off their new album, and “Cocaine Jesus,” an RKS classic, to get the crowd started. Throughout the show, they played a mix of old and new songs, paying homage to the band's history. Some crowd favorites included “First Class,” “Hide,” and “It’s Called: Freefall.”

The band managed to fill the entirety of Hard Rock Live Orlando and, with that, created a safe space for everyone. One of the band's main missions is to include and uplift people of all identities and backgrounds. This concert was a true testament to that goal. Walking into the concert and seeing parents with their kids, queer couples of all ages, and people going solo but making friends with each other was the perfect way for RKS to come back to Orlando, and for anyone to spend this beautiful Tuesday night.
